Know specific absorption rate ( SAR ) and it’s effect..

SAR

Today, people are never far from their smartphones, whether it’s in their hand during their commute, lying in their pocket at work, pressed to their ear to make a call or resting on their bedside table at night. Questions have been raised about whether our close proximity to smartphones might be damaging our health. While there is no conclusive scientific research yet on the impact of cellphone radiation, people who want to weigh up the possible risks should take a glance at the following infographic.

Generate energy with waves

Wave energy

Wave Energy also known as Ocean Wave Energy, is another type of ocean based renewable energy source that uses the power of the waves to generate electricity. Unlike tidal energy which uses the ebb and flow of the tides, wave energy uses the vertical movement of the surface water that produce tidal waves. Wave power converts the periodic up-and-down movement of the oceans waves into electricity by placing equipment on the surface of the oceans that captures the energy produced by the wave movement and converts this mechanical energy into electrical power.

Digital trends in Agriculture

Agriculture tech

In recent years, technology in agriculture, also known as AgTech has rapidly changed the industry. In 2015, the industry’s investment in technology reached a whopping $4.6 billion—and that was three years ago! However, our population is continuing to grow, which has the potential to affect resource availability going forward. In recent studies, it was found that the industry’s output must increase by 60% by 2030.

How to Break Into Acting

Acting

Anyone who has ever contemplated a career in acting knows that there is a long road ahead. And I won’t lie—it is a rough path. But it’s also one filled with joyous achievements and artistic milestones if you’re passionate, dedicated, and willing to work at your craft. As an actor (with many friends in the industry as well), I know that beginning to move forward is often the hardest step in this process. When I first became an actor and a writer, I was truly confused as to what that meant. I knew I wanted to act and create stories to entertain people—it was all I ever wanted to do with my life. But I wasn’t exactly sure how to get there.

World Earth Day

WED

On 22nd April 2009 the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution declaring 22nd April as the “International Mother Earth Day”. The resolution was adopted to reaffirm the agenda of sustainable development and also to acknowledge the role of earth as a mother, who sustains and nurtures all the species, including humans, animals and plants.

Innovation and Economic Growth

JIIP_INNOVATION GROWTH_Large-1

Innovation is not a new phenomenon. Arguably, it is old as mankind itself. There seems to be something inherently ―human about the tendency to think about new and better ways of doing things and to try them out in practice. Innovation is a major factor of economic growth and performance in the globalized economy.

Principles and Strategies of Innovation – You must Know

Principles of Innovation

The great researcher and professor in the field of management and entrepreneurship, Peter F. Drucker, in his book Innovation and Entrepreneurship(1) lists several principles which should be respected by innovators. He has grouped these principles in ―Do ‘s and ―Don’ts in the process of innovation.

What is Innovation?

Enterprises today act under a big pressure by other enterprises, which offer the same or similar production or service, or they are under the pressure of the customers who expect more and more from the product they consume. In order to face with the new conditions and situations, enterprises are made to continuously search for new ways of production, namely offering new products or enhancing existing ones. In other words, they should continuously introduce innovations. But, what in fact do innovations represent?

Tomatoes….

Tomatoes

A teacher asked her students to bring some tomatoes in a plastic bag to school. Each tomato was to be given the name of a person whom that child hates. So, the number of tomatoes would be equal to the number of persons they hate.On a pre-determined day, All the children brought their tomatoes well addressed. continue….

Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) –

download

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is a terpolymer, or a polymer composed of three different monomers. This amorphous blend is made up of acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene in varying proportions. Each one of these monomers serve to impart an advantage to ABS: acrylonitrile provides chemical and thermal stability, butadiene increase toughness and impact strength, and styrene gives the plastic a nice and glossy finish.

Poly-lactic Acid (PLA) – Eco-friendly plastic

what-is-pla

Polylactic Acid (PLA) is different than most thermoplastic polymers in that it is derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane. Most plastics, by contrast, are derived from the distillation and polymerization of nonrenewable petroleum reserves. Plastics that are derived from biomass (e.g. PLA) are known as “bioplastics.”

3D Printing of Metal parts

Selective Laser Melting (SLM) and Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) are two metal additive manufacturing processes that belong to the powder bed fusion 3D printing family. The two technologies have a lot of similarities: both use a laser to scan and selectively fuse (or melt) the metal powder particles, bonding them together and building a part layer-by-layer. Also, the materials used in both processes are metals that come in a granular form.

Binder Jetting – 3D Printing Process

BinderJetting

Binder Jetting is a family of additive manufacturing processes. In Binder Jetting, a binder is selectively deposited onto the powder bed, bonding these areas together to form a solid part one layer at a time. The materials commonly used in Binder Jetting are metals, sand, and ceramics that come in a granular form.

Material Jetting – 3D Printing Process

MatJetFeatImage

Material Jetting (MJ) is an additive manufacturing process that operates in a similar fashion to 2D printers. In material jetting, a printhead (similar to the printheads used for standard inkjet printing) dispenses droplets of a photosensitive material that solidifies under ultraviolet (UV) light, building a part layer-by-layer. The materials used in MJ are thermoset photopolymers (acrylics) that come in a liquid form.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) – 3D Printing Process

3d-printing-9-638

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an Additive Manufacturing process that belongs to the Powder Bed Fusion family. In SLS, a laser selectively sinters the particles of a polymer powder, fusing them together and building a part layer-by-layer. The materials used in SLS are thermoplastic polymers that come in a granular form.

Stereolithography (SLA) – 3D Printing Process

rapid-prototyping2-11-638

Stereolithography (SLA) is an additive manufacturing process that belongs to the Vat Photopolymerization family. In SLA, an object is created by selectively curing a polymer resin layer-by-layer using an ultraviolet (UV) laser beam. The materials used in SLA are photosensitive thermoset polymers that come in a liquid form.

Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) – 3D printing Process

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), or Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), is an additive manufacturing process that belongs to the material extrusion family. In FDM, an object is built by selectively depositing melted material in a pre-determined path layer-by-layer. The materials used are thermoplastic polymers and come in a filament form.

3D Printing – New age of Machining process.

3D_PROMO-526283072_1

3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.
